Visiting the website
The website is delivered through OpenAI ChatGPT Sites. Loading a page sends technical request information to the hosting infrastructure, such as your IP address, requested page, time and browser information. This supports page delivery, operation, troubleshooting and protection against abuse. My basis is the legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The website code has no accounts, forms, checkout, advertising or analytics trackers. You do not need to submit your name or email to read it.
Hosting and international processing
OpenAI and its hosting providers process technical data needed to operate Sites. Sites does not guarantee hosting exclusively in Denmark or the EEA. OpenAI’s Sites data-processing terms describe processing on behalf of site operators and safeguards for international transfers, including EU standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions where applicable. Email and support
When you email me, I process your email address, message and attachments to answer and follow up. This is voluntary; without a return address I cannot reply. The basis is my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and providing support (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Email is handled by Simply.com A/S, Denmark. Support mail is currently read at Simply and is not forwarded to a separate Gmail account. Do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. I do not use support messages for mailing lists or advertising.
Retention and deletion
Support correspondence is deleted from the active mailbox and my working copies no later than one year after the case is closed, or earlier when no longer needed. Simply’s security appendix states that email backups are normally retained for 30 days, so a deleted message can remain in backup until it expires. Hosting data is handled under the applicable Sites processing terms for the service period and the time required to fulfil deletion or legal obligations afterwards. I do not keep a separate visitor log or export hosting logs into a customer database.
Your choices and rights
Your language choice is stored locally in your browser when you select it. You can change it or clear the site’s storage in browser settings; details are linked below. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or object to processing based on legitimate interests; portability applies where the legal conditions are met. Email martin@kampmannstudio.com. I respond without undue delay and normally within one month. I do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. You may complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
